These free music on hold files are for use with Grandstream, FreePBX and Avaya IP Office systems.  The IP 400 uses wav files that can only be up to 30 seconds long, the 90 second versions are for the IP500.  Longer MP3 files are for external players connected to an IP Office via the audio jack. We can provide custom recordings for a small charge. Right-click on the appropriate link for your playback hardware in the third column and choose “Save link as…” Please use Google Chrome to see the audio player strip in the center of each row. The MP3 and wav players are built into the browsers.

The third column may contain 3 possible links – IP400 for 30 second 16 bit 8 khz mono files and IP500 for an up to 90 second 16 bit 8khz mono file. Lastly, a link for an MP3 version of the song at full length using a higher bandwidth for best quality.  All are royalty free.  The on-screen player will play one of the versions, usually the longest. Remember to rename your downloaded file HoldMusic.wav before uploading to your IP400 or IP500 system. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sound quality as related to IP phones and SIP trunk lines: If your codec is set to G711 the audio will sound fine.  If due to bandwidth constraints, you need to set to G729, your audio quality will be effected and noticed the most on files with music.
